Job Title: Religious Education Teacher

Location: Staffordshire

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Religious Education Teacher to join our dedicated team in Lichfield. As a key member of our academic staff, you will inspire and educate students on religious and moral values, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for diverse religious traditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and informative lessons in Religious Education.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and respectful discussion.
  • Foster spiritual and moral development in students, promoting values such as empathy, tolerance, and understanding.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student performance to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school's ethos.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialization in Religious Education or related discipline.

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of various religious traditions and the ability to communicate these concepts effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
