Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking

Our client is a leading Finance provider currently in growth phase. They have a real appetite to lend money and work closely with SMEs across all different sectors to help provide a fast, flexible and tailored solution. The wider business has a market-leading SME focused proposition and can offer a full range of different competitive business finance products.

We now have an exciting opportunity to join them as an experienced Relationship Manager in their team, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of complex SME clients, some of which have multiple finance requirements.

Responsibilities - Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking :

  • To take ownership of strategy and deliver excellent operational services to your portfolio of customers
  • Client meetings to build and strengthen relationship and deliver on service
  • Analysis and recommendation on facility increases
  • Have strong personal risk expertise and be able to identify and maintain exit strategies where appropriate
  • Monitor client’s financial performance, identify sales opportunities and risk analysis
  • Complete facility reviews, underwriting where necessary, risk frameworks
  • Ensuring customers are treated fairly and in accordance with standards and high levels of service are maintained to both internal and external customers.

Requirements - Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking :

  • Experience of Real Estate Finance
  • Have great attention to detail, time and account management
  • Strong credit ability, to be able to understand the principles of lending and legal obligations of the product
  • Experience reading and understanding financial information and projections
  • High levels of commercial awareness
  • Team working and strong stakeholder management skills
