Our client operates the regulated markets of cities across Europe, and are searching for a dynamic and talented Relationship Management Intern! This is a 12 month internship paying £27K. This role is hybrid with 3 days at the office in Canary Wharf.
In this role you will be required to have great organisation and administration skills. If you have an interest in financial markets that would be a bonus!

About the Company:
Our client is a multi-asset clearing house that provides proven risk management capabilities on several markets, across a range of trading venues including Euronext Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan and Paris Cash Markets.
Their Activities:
Our client clear equities, EFTs, closed-end funds, financial and commodity derivatives, bonds and repos across multiple markets with a wide and varied client base in a highly competitive market.
They are seeking to offer an internship opportunity to a dynamic and talented individual to support the Senior Sales manager in London and work closely with their clearing Sales and Onboarding teams to optimise performance of their Clearings Sales and Relationship Management activities.
The Team:
You will assist in the administration and analysis of their Clearings UK clients. Fully supported by the Senior Sales Manager you will assist with the organisation and preparation for regular client meetings and resulting actions, including the production of Management information for client meetings and internal reporting purposes.
The role will require close co-ordination with the Senior Sales Manager and different business units to ensure alignment and progress against business priorities.

The Role:

  • In this role you will support the Clearing Sales team on a day-to-day basis with a broad remit of tasks to optimise the performance of the Clearings Sales and Relationship Management activities.
  • You will support in the production of Management information for client meetings and internal reporting purposes.
  • Help coordinate and track priorities and actions from client meetings and prepare other ad hoc presentations/reports
  • Conduct analysis as required to identify and support sales activities and opportunities.
  • Prepare metrics to measure performance of relevant businesses and client activities.


About You:
Experience:

  • Business acumen and understanding of the wider eco-system the client operates in
  • Some knowledge and interest in financial market infrastructure would be a bonus


Technical skills:

  • Strong analytical/problem solving mindset
  • Strong-customer focus with the ability to understand and anticipate the customer needs (external & internal)
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • PowerPoint/strategic deck presentation skills


Soft skills:

  • Strong self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive problem solver with a solutions orientated approach and high attention to detail
  • Fluency in English is essential
