Our client is a growing Reinsurance brokers , based near Fenchurch Street and they are actively recruiting for a very experienced Reinsurance Wordings Technician to work with placing Brokers across their London, European, Bermudian, and U.S. markets.

This is a critical role in the broking process, helping to construct Reinsurance slips/contracts, and negotiate key terms in the market, to further the interests of their clients.

You will have a strong knowledge of different types of Reinsurance contracts, including ILW, Quota Share, XOL, and Binder contracts, etc.

You will be comfortable drafting, constructing, and amending Reinsurance contracts, and assisting with and at times leading negotiations with reinsurers

The key requirements are:

· In depth understanding of reinsurance contracts and reinsurance contract law.

· In depth understanding of the base wording and standard clauses of reinsurance.

· Ability to bring technical expertise and additional knowledge to our team.

· Reviewing, checking, and drafting reinsurer bespoke slip wordings.

· Excellent understanding of Market Reform Contracts/slip construction and content.

· A minimum of 10+ years' experience in wordings within the Lloyd's / London markets; or another major international market with exposure to London. Additional international exposure is advantageous.

· The ability to work cross-class and interpret wordings, which are often bespoke given their innovative approach to risk transfer arrangements.

They are offering a very competitive salary paying upto £150,000
