Your new job working as a Reinsurance Technician/ Client service, will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. Your new Brokers employ over 8000 staff doing business in over 120 countries worldwide and who pride themselves on having an entrepreneurial culture that their clients benefit from. Due to continued successful growth within the Reinsurance team, they are looking to recruit an experienced Reinsurance Technician/ Client services to join their expanding Reinsurance Team.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Reinsurance technician/ client service Technician is a multidisciplined end-to end Technical processing role, incorporating Processing, Treaty, Excess of Loss, Claims and IBA functions. You will be working within a dynamic and diverse Reinsurance Client Services team in a varied role handling client queries and delivering excellent client service on a diverse Reinsurance portfolio.
Building relationships with the team and with your clients internally and externally. You will deal with the processing of premiums and excess of loss claims as well as broker support, providing support, preparation of and issuance of technical documentation to include Cover notes and debit notes as well as handle any Excess of loss claims. Other duties will include handling and IBA to include Monthly review of Aged Debt reports, chasing for due items and arranging settlement of held balances and the preparation and Reconciliation of Client statements and payment.
This is an all-encompassing RI role where you will cover a variety of classes of business to include, binders. Facultative reinsurance and treaty business.

What you\'ll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a reinsurance technician, dealing with premiums and claims handling Excess of Loss or Treaty business. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates. You will have the ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met. Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications. Experience in processing all risks types, proportional, excess of loss premiums and claims.. IBA function experience is advantageous, but not essential.
