Location: Ystradgynlais
Hours per week: 15 hours per week
Working pattern: Flexibility required (can be discussed at interview)
Pay: £15 per hour - Weekday (7am to 11pm)

I’m a 35-year-old male who sustained a brain injury in 2012, I would like my Rehabilitation Support Worker to be caring, considerate, enthusiastic, and patient, with a compassionate approach to ensure we have a mutually enjoyable experience when completing everyday tasks. I enjoy vintage cars and like to restore them to their original condition.
I have my own property in Ystradgynlais and need encouragement and support to engage and motivate me to carry out day to day living tasks, such as domestic chores and maintaining my environment. You will also need to help me engage in other activities, eg therapy, and be able to follow a support plan.
This will be a chance for you to join our collaborative working culture in a role where no two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.
Essential Information
To join me as a Support Worker you will need to: -
- Be able to drive and have use of a car.
- Have experience of supporting a person with an acquired brain injury.
- Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.
Full induction and training will be provided.
