My client is currently looking for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their rapidly expanding insurance company. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with over 5 years of post-qualification experience in the insurance industry, who is looking to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the preparation and submission of annual US regulatory returns (NAIC & TRIA) and Solvency II quantitative reporting templates.
- Produce Solvency II narrative reports (SFCR and RSR) and quarterly board papers.
- Lead tax projects and contribute to the team’s regular tax reporting, including CBCR return and transfer pricing OECD documentation.
- Manage one direct report, providing guidance and leadership to a qualified accountant.
- Collaborate with key internal departments such as Finance, Actuarial, Compliance, and Underwriting, as well as external relationships including auditors and third-party service providers.
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the insurance industry.
- Strong expertise in regulatory reporting, particularly within the insurance sector.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor team members.
- Excellent organisational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple deadlines.
- A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take on new and challenging tasks.
- Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience in managing external audits.
