Regulatory Police Solicitor Advocate or Barrister - Wiltshire/Hybrid The Regulatory Department of my dynamic clients provides a wide spectrum of expert advice to local authorities, NHS bodies, police forces, schools, as well as organizations and individuals facing Health & Safety, criminal, and other regulatory prosecutions. They are currently seeking experienced Solicitor Advocates or Barristers to join our esteemed National Police team. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a caseload of civil protective orders. * Present cases in Magistrates' courts. * Organize Case Manager diary and action lists. * Draft various documents, including court applications. * Achieve set financial and chargeable targets. * Work in accordance with Weightmans' values. This is primarily an advocacy role, and regular attendance at court is a fundamental aspect. Candidates should be flexible for advocacy in the Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Qualifications and Requirements: * Qualified Solicitor or Barrister. * Demonstrable experience and interest in civil protective orders. * Proven advocacy skills with experience in Magistrates' courts. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload effectively. * Strong drafting skills for various legal documents. * Commitment to achieving financial and chargeable targets. * Flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to different tasks.
