JOB TITLE: Regulatory Lawyer – Manager
LOCATION: London / Hybrid
PQE: 3+ years’ PQE
SALARY: circa £50,000 - £60,000
THE ROLE:
A great opportunity has arisen for a talented Lawyer to join an innovative and supportive regulatory organisation. This is a truly exceptional opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Lawyer to join this organisation as a member of the senior leadership team. The firm expects the appointed legal professional will have experience in managing a team, as you will be expected to oversee the work of two or more Regulation Lawyers, as well as a Casework manager who manages a small team of Case Officers. You will handle your own caseload and be responsible for providing advice on scope, procedural requirements, evidential considerations, and risk management.
The organisation offers hybrid working arrangements that include some remote work days. This role offers a new challenge for a well suited regulatory lawyer, combining complex case management with leadership, and influencing policy within the sector. This role will require the utmost confidence in decision making, consistency in approach and a commitment to high quality work.
THE CANDIDATE:
A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 3 years PQE, you will have gained substantial experience within regulatory law, and will possess the ability to handle regulatory complaint cases from instruction to completion. Excellent influencing skills and communication capabilities are essential for this role.
You must possess motivation to work to extremely time-sensitive cases whilst delivering consistent and quality work. The appointed legal professional will have a proven track record of decision making and defending against appeals as necessary. Your enviable skills will allow you to quickly become a valuable member of the team.
