Regulatory Compliance Officer

Sterling Williams have a new role, working for a financial institution based in London. We are seeking a Compliance Analyst with at least 3 years experience within compliance monitoring reviews, AML, Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support the team with compliance monitoring reviews, whilst supporting the completion of regulatory reports,
• Assist with the internal processes relating to breaches and gifts and hospitality .
• Assist with customer complaints handling.
• Assist in collating information/MI for submissions to Head Office and the UK regulators etc.
• Provide administrative support, creating, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures
• Assist with the preparation of training material and other presentations as required

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 3 years’ experience within the banking sector in the UK - within a compliance function
• Comfortable with the FCA Handbook and with FCA rules.
• Should be comfortable with communicating with different level stakeholders
• Should be able work with minimal supervision.
• Analytical mind and methodological and a mechanical focus
