Permanent Registered Service Manager

One of our clients are currently recruiting for a permanent Registered Service Manager for their brand-new supported living service in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Opening in June 2024, the service will support eight adults with learning disabilities to thrive.

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone to come in and make the service their own and work in a brand-new building with access to fabulous facilities and assistive technology.

Length:                                Permanent

Salary:                                 £42,000 per annum

Hours:                                 40 hours a week

Responsible for:                 1 x Deputy Manager, 4 FTE night support workers and 10 FTE support workers

As Registered Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that:

  • Your service is well led and maintains high quality standards
  • All support is delivered in compliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures
  • There is effective management of all aspects of service delivery
  • Your service is financially robust and that your staff team are well developed and motivated
  • Stakeholder relationships are effectively managed
  • Positive Behaviour Support is embedded in the service and ongoing coaching and support is given to to allow staff/deputy manager(s) to effectively deliver person centred support
  • You lead CQC inspections and organisational quality visits

 Essential requirements:

  • Have extensive leadership experience and have the ability to motivate staff to deliver excellent services
  • Strong understanding of PBS framework and implementation within services
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding, MHA, DOLs, MCA and regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding and experience with CQC inspection framework and regulations
  • The ideal candidate will be calm and resilient who takes a practical and methodical approach to their work, showcasing excellent organisational skills
  • Holds relevant Health and Social Care Management Qualifications, e.g. QCF Level 5
