As a nurse, no two days are the same. You’ll be working with different specialists, and interacting with a wide variety of patients and clinicians, utilising the full range of your nursing skills to deliver exceptional care to patients. As part of the nursing team, you will be expected to work in all areas of the service to support and deliver outstanding patient care. We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and dependable who can build and maintain positive working relationships. This role is a full time permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure the provision of excellent, evidence-based nursing care for patients at all times
  • To act as facilitator, help and support to visiting Consultants and other Clinicians and Practitioners
  • To assist in the safe, elective and efficient management of the department within allocated resources
  • Ensure the provision of a welcoming, caring, clean and safe environment for Patients.
  • To communicate complex and sensitive information effectively to patients, carers and other staff, overcoming any barriers to understanding and providing support during distressing or emotional events.
