We are now recruiting for a specialist service provider of supported living adults with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs. Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Supported Living Registered Manager will be responsible to plan effectively, identify and oversee your budget and successfully deploy human, financial, and other resources, ensuring the organisational objectives are met. As a manager you’ll need to monitor performance and adherence to a set of standards and engage in problem solving underpinned by a values-based approach to your leadership. This role is responsible for managing the Senior Team and Support Team to drive quality assurance within the region to ensure regulatory and legal compliance of our services. The post holder will also be required to work collaboratively with the Local Authorities Social Worker Teams.

Key Responsibilities Governance, Quality and Regulatory Process

• To be the Registered Manager for Supported living in specified regions for regulated activities of supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, 18 plus all ages.

• To comply with the CQC’s Fundamental Standards of being Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led.

• To ensure the service is performing exceptionally well working towards providing an 'Outstanding’ rating.

• To be the key contact for any CQC inspections, Local authority inspections and internal quality assurance process.

• To ensure handling of primary information relating to people (people using the service or staff) complies with legislation and data governance procedures

• To lead, motivate and encourage teams to deliver high quality services.

• To be responsible for managing the Senior Team to drive quality assurance within the region to ensure regulatory and legal compliance of our services.

• To implement and carry out auditing to ensure a high level of quality assurance.

• To work with the housing department to ensure that all accommodation/ property is fit for purpose.

• To contribute to the development of Strategic, Operational and Team planning.

• To directly supervise and line manage the Senior Team and oversee the care teams.

• To advise and guide the staff teams with regards to service provision and issues concerning the service users.

• To work in partnership with the HR team to resolve disciplinary issues, grievances and performance management ensuring issues are addressed as required.

• To manage the support teams including induction, probation, supervision, appraisals and allocation of workload.

• To lead on recruitment and selection of new staff in partnership with the Human Resources department.

• To manage the staff rotas and ensure the service is appropriately staffed to meet the needs of the service users and or contractual arrangements.

• To manage the service audits and ensure our services meet our regulated obligations, with CQC, funders, and our stakeholders.

• To take the lead and be responsible for the On Call, including participation when necessary.

• To identify training and personal development of self and staff team.

• To ensure the care team are skilled and knowledgeable in Right Care, Right support, Right Care, Right Culture.

• To be responsible for all assessments and transitions of new service users into the service, completing all initial support plans and risk assessments following assessment process. To liaise with Senior Social worker for guidance and advice. Person Centred Practice for Positive Outcome

• To ensure all service users are central to decision making and informed lifestyle choices.

• To ensure service users stay connected to family, friends, and their community
