We are recruiting for a Registered Manager for a Residential Children's Home in the Stratford area of London. This position is for a new childcare provider working alongside local boroughs that have limited facilities to provide temporary residential care for vulnerable young people.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Manager with exceptional leadership skills who demonstrates commitment to supporting and preparing children to move on to independent living. You will join a growing business and be instrumental in the set-up and delivery of high-quality care facilities and services within a safe and homely environment.

The intention is for the Residential Care Home to house 5 Young People from 10 - 18 years old.

Essential Requirements;

  • Level 5 diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care & Children & Young People’s Services in the children and young people’s management pathway
  • Level 3 diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of policies and procedures pertaining to running a residential children’s home.
  • 5+ years’ experience working with EBD and LD children and at least 3 years at a senior level
  • Supervision/management experience
  • Excellent reviews of working with children and their families in a residential care setting
  • Financial acumen and budgeting skills of social work principles and practices
