Bright Selection is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to oversee the day to day operations of a specialist residential care home for adults learning disabilities and autism.

As the Registered Manager with CQC, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of person-centred care, compliance with regulatory requirements and staff management.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established third sector provider to manage, develop and build upon the success of their Good rated care home near Halesowen in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and guide the care home team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise care home staff and conduct regular staff meetings, appraisals, and training sessions to support professional development and performance improvement.
  • Manage local authority contracts, lead on commissioning contract monitoring, infection control visits, and CQC inspections, managing all stakeholder relationships.
  • Oversees all aspects of the care home's operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resident care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current or Previous CQC Registered Manager with relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, RMA, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Care Home Manager in a similar residential setting with Adults with Learning disabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in social care.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Salary:

  • £40,000 - £43,000 negotiable DEO
  • 37.5hrs a week
