Fantastic to be partnering exclusively again with this highly recognisable FMCG business on the search for a new Regional Transport Manager.

Due to an internal move, we are looking for an engaging, forward thinking leader, responsible for a diverse and complex operation across the UK. You'll be given autonomy over the running of the operations as well as some exciting projects such as the implementation and optimisation of electric vehicles

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic logistics professional with a deep understanding of transport operation, driving optimisation in this space with strong people management experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known and growing business with a fantastic brand, where you will be given true autonomy and ownership to drive change

Key responsibilities:

• Accountable for operational effectiveness for Regional Transport operation
• Managing and improving a complex distribution model; understanding customers' needs and optimising approach
• Developing a positive workplace environment, instilling a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead on key improvement project to deliver optimal operating model, through new initiatives in cost saving, safety and service

Key requirements:

• Experienced leading Transport Operations in a complex and diverse distribution network
• A strong and passionate leader, able to manage teams and instil a positive culture.
• O Licence holder
• Ability to understand complex operations and drive change
• Enthusiasm to deliver a best in class supply chain and develop yourself & others
