Are you a results driven leader looking for their next oppoutunity? Due to business growth we are looking for an enthusiastic Managing Director to join our fantastic team within the North West
Managing our Education division, whilst reporting to the UK Managing Director. The Divisional Managing Director is responsible for increasing market share, delivering sustained growth and net operating profits by retaining and developing existing business and creating / implementing strategies across the area of responsibility. Working in partnership with senior clients, building strong relationships.
What you'll be doing...
The Regional Managing Director's key repsonsibitlies include:
- Responsible for developing operational strategies which underpin the positive delivery of annual sales targets / budgets. Manage and control overhead costs, preparing contingency plans where appropriate
- Build and proactively maintain external relationships with all clients to exceed expectations, deliver a value-added service proposition to grow the divisions competitive advantage
- Lead the operational function of our education portfolio, responsible for building of high-performing team, including recruitment, development, talent management and succession
- Develop and embed a culture to ensure that Food Safety, Health and Safety and Financial compliance is strictly adhered to within the sector at all levels
- Collaborate more widely across the UK business working effectively with all functional / divisional directors
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
What can you bring?
In this role:
- Previous senior director role, ideally in the education sector (Primary, Secondary & Colleges)
- Significant experience in the development and implementation of successful growth strategies and business controls
- A proven successful leader of teams who can successfully embrace change
- Proven experience in successful client relationships and strong negotiation skills
- Will be an exceptional leader of a group of operations directors and a wider team of operators, Marketing and Food Development Team
- Will have experience in running a high value multi outlet operation over a substantial geographical area (500+ schools)
- Will have experience of proactive P&L management and budgetary achievement
- Will have experience in solution finding for market challenges
