We have a new vacancy for a Regional Installation Assistant, supporting local authorities with an assessment of care need by providing and installing wireless monitoring of activity equipment in to people’s homes.
This is a regional role, based from home and covering sites across Fife and Scotland. Car Allowance Provided.
The role:
- Installing wireless activity monitoring equipment into people’s homes, supporting living properties and also care homes
- Monitoring of up to 50 installations to ensure they are working effectively
- Review activity data and create reports for each site
- Attend meetings and provide support to individuals, carers, families and care professionals to help them understand the technology and how to use the data collected
- Provide reassurance and support to individuals during the installation period
- Plan regular service review meetings with care professionals and local authorities using the service
- Taking real care in the work that you are doing to help support those that use the services
Skills & Experience:
- Ideal applicants will be naturally comfortable working in the adult care sector and empathetic
- Personable with excellent communications skills to articulate plans to customers in an empathetic manner
- Practical skills to simply install wireless motion monitoring equipment (no electrical work or power tools required)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently to complete tasks
- Ability to analyse data and create reports that show activity and highlight any anomalies
- Experience in a social care role will be an advantage, but not essential
