Regional Director - Traffic Management
Borehamwood
£85,000 - £102,000 doe + Bonus + Full Package

Utilise Recruitment are currently looking for a Regional Director, within the Traffic Management Sector, on behalf of our Client; a major Highways Contractor, based out of Borehamwood.
This role will be as Regional Director of London and the South East.
Requirements of role as Regional Director
  • Experience in all aspects of Traffic Management and contracts
  • Development of existing and new clients
  • Liaise with Contracts / Operations Director
  • Exemplary relationship with clients
  • Introduce new ideas for business growth
  • Commercial awareness
  • Monthly Management meetings (CRM reports)
  • Understanding of Industry regulations
  • Oversees the day-to-day progress of projects through delivery.
  • Promotes the Company’s safety culture by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through personal actions and mentoring others.
  • Develops and maintains project budgets and timelines as required for each project to ensure overall project deliverables are met.
  • Communicates with key business leaders, owners and partners to provide updates on the status of projects, surface and address concerns, and plan specific actions as needed to ensure the on-time and on-budget completion of the projects; Able to effectively communicate the project’s vision and goals.
  • Provides strategic leadership and shares technical expertise with team members to achieve performance goals and company objectives.
  • Delivers ongoing feedback, direction and guidance to ensure a motivated, productive workforce.
  • Establishes improvement programs by assessing current processes and procedures with the goal of increasing profit while still maintaining quality.
Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills Required for Regional Director role.
  • Proven experience in a Regional Management / Director role within Highway / Traffic Management Sector
  • Knowledge of regulations, technical specifications, planning, processes, procurement processes for Traffic Management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, Project; necessary to support budgeting and overall management.
  • Certified in Industry & management standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to effectively write and present reports and information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships, communicate with tact and diplomacy, and influence with impact at all levels.
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory skills sufficient to lead, direct, evaluate, and mentor subordinate and peer employee staff.
  • Demonstrated skills necessary to supervise and monitor works provided by (technical) consultants, negotiate, manage and monitor construction/technical related agreements.
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply & divide numbers, decimals and fractions and calculate percentages to complete financial records, budgets and other fiscal reporting information.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to effectively track, report, and manage multiple projects and prioritise where meeting deadlines is critical.
  • A positive team player, with an adaptable and flexible approach along with ability to work collaboratively to drive results and support the wider team and business objectives.
