The role

You will be responsible for key aspects of delivery:

  • The transportation and technical set up and set down of occasional delivery
  • Acting as the Senior Test Centre Associate for Test Centre delivery in accordance with our operational guidance


Ensuring all tests / updates for that day have been downloaded at the start of the day and completed tests uploaded at the end of the day.

The ideal candidate needs to be available and flexible to cover occasional delivery based at Preston (Hub site), Burnley, Penrith, Millom, this role would suit someone looking for part time as the operating days are limited, needs to be physically able to move and transport some heavy equipment and able to work long shifts including traveling, must have a full clean driving licence. having some technical experience with computers is preferred but not essential as there is full training. 

Key accountabilities:

You will collect all equipment needed for that day or programme of testing, transporting to the correct delivery locations, setting the site up and ensuring compliance with all the stipulated requirements. You will act as the STCA during Test Centre Delivery on the day. You will then at the end of the days testing, safely pack up the site leaving it in its original condition. This may involve a stay overnight or weekends, as and when required, to fulfil your duties for occasional site delivery.

At the end of the trip, you transport it back to the required location before packing away all equipment safely and ensure all IT equipment as required is reconnected to the network and turned on.

The assembly of equipment involves IT and CCTV equipment being put out in the correct locations as per plans and connecting with cables, so it is all fully operational ready for delivery at the site that day.

You will be responsible for equipment/kit, reporting any damaged equipment and reordering replacements damaged or used up during the course of your shift. Maintaining a secure chain of custody for all sensitive equipment in line with stipulations.

During the time on site, you will also be responsible for the invigilation of exams and the efficient delivery of tests to participants, ensuring that relevant procedures and guidelines are adhered to at all times. These responsibilities will be delivered both directly through your invigilation duties and via your management, during your shift, of the Test Centre. The Regional Delivery Associate (RDA) will strictly adhere to the guidelines in accordance with the programme’s requirements and Reed in Partnership’s policies and procedures.

This is not an exhaustive list, and the RDA will be expected to carry out any other duties as may be specified by the line manager from time to time.

Skills & experience:

Essential Attainments:
  • Hold a full clean Valid UK Drivers licence for a Manual Vehicle
  • Able to drive in inclement weather such as snow or travel on long ferry trips
  • Good eyesight with enough physical stamina and dexterity to be able to pick up / move heavy equipment while connecting IT cabling in line for Manual Handling Training
  • The ability to work effectively independently or under limited supervision.
  • Experience of leading or supervising a team.
  • Significant demonstrable experience in providing a high-quality customer service both face to face and by telephone, in a target driven environment such as a contact centre or retail environment.
  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
