External Account Executive - South East - £35-40k  £45k ote (bonus + company car + bens)

As an Account Manager you know how important customer interaction is and believing in the products you are selling ! 

Being out on the road and engaging with your customers will be as natural to you as breathing, spending 4 days on the road and one day in the Derby based office each week.

You will need to live outside of the M25 to the North, from Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Stevenage or possibly Northampton (the North most point) 

Taking control of your own diary - making your own appointments from qualified leads and liaising and meeting with your customers to discuss requirements is something that is second nature to you.

Its a niche industry, so customers will be pleased to see you as you bring them samples, offers and new products all within the print consumables arena, so things like sublimation blanks, printables and garment decoration (printable HTV or single colour htv & direct to film consumables), along with hoodies, sweatshirts and tshirts.

Don't worry if you don't have industry experience, that can be taught although if you enjoy working within print, design, promotional giftware or similar industries even better, but not a deal breaker, although you will have have worked in an external sales role with a mixture of account management and new business previously.

Its not hard sales, your customers are SME's who will mostly know what they want - its up to you to make sure you close that sale and it certainly helps working for the market leader.

In return you will receive a basic salary, profit share and monthly bonus, a hybrid company car, laptop and expenses card.
 
So as the Account Manager what will you be doing?
  • Creating and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within a designated area on the consumable product range (Sublimation blanks such as mugs & coasters, Garment decoration such as Printable HTV, Single Colour HTV & Direct to Film consumables).
  • Planning and visiting 65 customer per month and making 100 proactive calls per month
  • Following up any pricing, samples or new product provided to customers during site visits by telephone.
  • Identifying and monitoring customers lack of purchase.
  • Compiling customer sample requests pre or post visit.
  • Drafting up customer quotations on consumables, Vanilla or hardware (where applicable).
  • Agreeing & applying ongoing special pricing.
  • Taking part in hardware systems demonstrations
  • Attending offsite events/shows/supplier meetings
