POST Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced advertising Account Manager to join our client, the fastest-growing roadside media owner in the UK. Working closely with a mix of agency and direct clients they offer a high-quality inventory of digital and classic billboards nationwide. This is an incredibly exciting time for the business, as they embark on a rapid period of expansion. To support their growth plans they are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager based in the Midlands to join the Regional Direct sales division.

The Role:

As an Account Manager you will work at the forefront of the business driving awareness, nurturing relationships and closing new business across a growing portfolio of OOH roadside advertising solutions. Whether you are approaching potential clients, fostering business relationships, identifying opportunities, visiting clients or overcoming objections, it will be your superb communications skills and ability to beat client expectations that increases revenue and contributes to future growth, both personally and for the business.

The Regional Direct sales division houses relationships with local direct brands & local independent agencies and will be composed of a team of highly experienced Account Managers, whose role will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Building and maintaining strong, professional and profitable relationships with local, clients, brands and independent local agencies.
  • Pro-actively identify business opportunities with new and existing advertisers, managing the sales process from start to finish
  • Build compelling and engaging sales presentations to take to market, whilst becoming an ambassador for our client
  • Efficiently manage a sales pipeline, ensuring KPIs are met, forecasts are accurate, and targets are ultimately achieved

This role is open to applicants across the Midlands and will involve working remotely, outside of client meetings and pre-arranged office days

Your Experience:

The ideal candidate will be recognised as a best in practice sales expert within the media sales industry, with the following essential credentials:

  • Strong media sales experience (ideally 5+ years, minimum of 3 years)
  • Established contacts within local brands and local independent agencies
  • Highly articulate, confident, ambitious and self-motivated
  • Proactive and target-driven, with a can-do attitude
