Painter & Decorator Trainer

We are currently seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator Trainer to join our team within the Offender Learning Sector. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in individuals’ lives by equipping them with the skills necessary for future employment. If you have substantial industry experience and a passion for teaching, your expertise could be invaluable to our programme.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver vocational training in Painting and Decorating to a high standard.
  • Engage and instruct small groups, preparing them for employment in the industry.
  • Develop practical and theoretical skills, with a strong emphasis on industry health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to provide insights into employment and nurture learner aspirations.
  • Lead live projects to enhance the learning experience.
  • Tailor learning plans to support individual learner goals and readiness for employment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in Painting & Decorating.
  • Possession of an assessor award.
  • Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Ability to secure, hold, and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
