We are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join our team within offender learning. Based in Greater London, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives and futures of learners, their families, and communities. The ideal candidate will be patient, passionate, and understanding, supporting learners who are determined to learn and improve.

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Functional Skills Maths within an offender learning environment.
• Inspire, motivate, and empower learners to take ownership of their learning journey.
• Support learners in progressing through accredited or structured non-accredited programmes tailored to their needs and interests.
• Develop personalised learning plans that equip learners with essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
• Engage with learners to raise their expectations and aspirations, encouraging them to envision a positive future.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Practitioners & Student Support Workers to provide tailored support to learners.
• Participate in planning sessions and receive support from the Local Education Manager as needed.

• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
• Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DET).
• Qualification in your specialist subject area.
• A proven track record of effective teaching within your subject specialism.
