Our client is on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Recycling Plant Manager to lead their Materials Recycling Facility in Calne.

As the Recycling Plant Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving efficiency and sustainability in waste management. You'll lead a dynamic team, ensuring compliance with legislation and contractual obligations while exceeding productivity and profitability targets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead by example, ensuring compliance with site licence conditions and relevant legislation.
• Drive performance excellence, meeting and exceeding productivity and profitability targets.
• Foster a culture of safety and innovation, implementing best practices and recommending improvements.
• Inspire and motivate the team, providing ongoing training and support for professional development.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in waste management or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving results.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office. WAMITAB Certificate of Technical Competence desired.

Hours of work are 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday with some flexibility needed.
