Working for a charity in Birmingham City Centre this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment consultant to join a newly formed team to support on a specific contract for a minimum of 18 months to 2 years.

This is a true recruitment specialist role where you will be dealing with high volume recruitment of support workers supported by a recruitment coordinator and reporting into a Recruitment team leader your duties will be:

  • Candidate attraction - posting job adverts & managing applications & using online platforms to source suitable candidates
  • Stakeholder management -working with hiring managers, coaching hiring managers
  • Vacancy management process - provide proactive support working with hiring managers, managing expectations
  • Conducting candidate interviews
  • Talent pooling - proactively building candidate talent pools to help in peak periods
  • Assessment centres - helping plan and attending candidate assessment centres
  • Data management - prepare data to produce specific management information
  • Compliance - pre-employment checks

This is a full time position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday and will be office based one day a week on a Thursday for team meetings. This role is initially an 18 month to 2 year contract based on funding.

For this position we are looking for experienced recruiters who have worked in environments such as healthcare, social care, support workers or similar and are used to high volume recruitment, talent pooling and legislation and compliance checks. You will be used to developing innovative approaches for hard to fill vacancies and have excellent stakeholder management experience.
