Job Title: Recruitment Consultant

Location: Nottingham Office (Mansfield area)

Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday + on-call duties

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 plus bonus

Job Summary:

As a Healthcare Recruitment Consultant, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining our clients temporary staffing desk. This position will require previous experience within recruitment, ideally agency experience within the health care sector. The role does involve you actively driving new business generation and building strong client relationships. You will be attracting candidates via advertising and matching them to the temporary positions for their clients as well as vetting and interviewing candidates to support them with their job search. You will also attend networking events and job fairs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and growing the temporary desk, sourcing candidates and matching them to client positions.
  • Driving new business through sales, marketing, and networking activities.
  • Handling client accounts to ensure smooth service delivery and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Achieving KPIs and targets related to placements and business leads.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and work culture.
  • Communicating regularly with staff to maintain availability records and manage work assignments.
  • Conducting risk assessments and managing complaints effectively.
  • Identifying recruitment needs, drafting adverts, and headhunting suitable candidates.
  • Leading the interview and selection process, including reference checks and candidate briefings.
  • Reviewing recruitment policies and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Participating in client meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve business goals and support field staff management.
  • Performing on-call duties on a rotational system and increasing your support when the company requires it (one in every 8 weekends)

Key Skills:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in recruitment.
  • Experience with recruitment software such as Aspire.
  • Self-motivation and personal drive.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and personal appearance.
  • Strong initiative and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Car driver/owner - due to the nature of the role this is an essential requirement
