Recruitment Consultant

I am seeking a Recruitment Consultant to manage the temporary recruitment roles across Kent for a busy business support desk in Maidstone.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a fun, vibrant, and experienced team. The role involves working with both candidates and clients within the commerce and industry market, focusing on the business support desk.

Day-to-day of the temporaries recruitment consultant:

• Manage a busy and warm desk, recruiting for temporary roles such as administration, customer service, HR, logistics assistants, call centre advisors, sales advisors, PAs, EAs, and all office support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across Kent, understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Source and screen candidates, conducting interviews and matching their skills and aspirations with suitable roles.
• Provide exceptional service to both clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
• Work collaboratively with the in-house team to share market knowledge and recruitment best practices.
• Participate in networking events to expand your client and candidate base.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the temporaries recruitment consultant:

• Proven experience in recruitment or a sales role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and positive approach to challenges.
• Knowledge of the local market in Kent is advantageous.
