We have a fantastic opportunity within our professional services brand Barclay Meade, who are looking for an experienced Sales or Recruitment Consultant to join the business. 

This is a chance to join one of our most successful brands, and home to some of the business's top performers including our biggest perm biller.

The bits you need to know. 

- You will be inheriting a Procurement Permanent desk, a market that we have been in for decades. 

- Focusing primarily on the Mobility and Smart Manufacturing markets, you will be able to benefit from the extensive client network of both teams to help you grow your desk.

- Unlike traditional Recruitment roles, this is role based rather than sector based. Giving you a much larger target universe of clients to speak to.

- As said above, this is a hugely successful and driven team - some of our top consultants are in this division, including top perm biller and another individual who has recently broken the record for the biggest fee in the company's history. 

- As a result of that we need someone with a strong sales background, either in Recruitment or another industry. We need someone with a proven track record of winning new business as opposed to servicing existing clients, an individual who is comfortable with a high pressure, KPI driven sales environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities via multi-media channels.
  • Identify potential candidates to fulfil client's requirements using innovative candidate attraction strategies.
  • Build and share a clients and candidates portfolio.
  • Work with both teams and managers to achieve personal and team KPIs & objectives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to candidate care and database development.
  • Support graduate and trainee consultants to develop into the role.

Key skills:

  • A solid sales track record, either in Recruitment or another sales industry (Estate Agency, Car sales, insurance sales, technical product sales, etc) is absolutely essential for this role, minimum of 12 months.
