We are looking for a highly ambitious and career driven individual who thrives on building business relationships and can take charge on delivering full recruitment campaigns for some of the most prestigious insurance organisations in London and the UK.

You will bring proven experience and a network of clients & candidates into the team within a specialism ideally related to the insurance industry. We are particularly interested in someone who has built a desk within legal marine/shipping, data analytics, cyber, risk & compliance, financial services or any relevant insurance disciplines.

The Role & Responsibilities;

  • Full "360" role at either Senior Consultant or Consultant level (depending on experience) where you will be responsible for developing existing and new business with insurance companies and continuously delivering the highest quality recruitment campaigns with expert candidates in the market.
  • Developing and/or building on your reputation within the insurance market as a leading insurance specialist recruiter.
  • Working with management to strategise on your target clients and talent pool development.
  • Using our in-house executive search process to manage multiple vacancies from instruction through to post placement.
  • Building relationships and accounts with a wide variety of stakeholders including HR professionals and hiring managers.
  • Representing clients to the market as an ambassador to drive and reinforce our excellent reputation in the market.
  • Meeting with clients & candidates face to face & via video to develop relationships and take/give briefings on new vacancies, market trends and general recruitment/insurance related issues and solutions.
  • Carrying out thorough and extensive market research to build a high level of commercial acumen within the industry and build an exceptional talent pool to represent to clients.
  • Working with the Operations Manager to oversee application processes and marketing of vacancies.
  • Contributing to the strengthening of our brand through digital and social marketing tools.
  • Building a strong LinkedIn presence by providing interesting & helpful insights, information and solutions to your network.
  • Negotiating offers, contracts and fees with clients.
  • Attending networking events throughout the year to develop your client base and the business.
  • Attending internal meetings and contributing to help the business achieve its goals.
  • Use a combination of executive search & recruitment techniques via telephone, email, web, referrals, social media and face to face to uncover the best candidates in the market.
  • Report into clients on progress of searches including key data and market findings including progress reports/market maps.
  • Meet with clients in social & professional settings to develop stronger relationships.
  • High level collaboration with your team sharing and discussing any insights or ideas that potentially can help the business achieve goals and develop.

Requirements;

  • This is a fast paced and independent role which will require you to work hard and smart so you will need to be creative, communicative, commercially aware and ambitious.
  • Ideally between 2 - 6 years experience in a relevant Consultant role.
  • Proven experience of successfully working in a 360 consultant role ideally within insurance, legal, marine, cyber, data analytics, financial services or similar markets is essential. We may consider experience in other sectors with a strong interest to specialise in insurance.
  • A proven history of successfully recruiting within a specialism.
  • Preferably an understanding of the executive search process or at least experience of managing recruitment campaigns as an exclusive recruiter.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Good commercial acumen with ability to develop business independently or with minimal oversight.
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft packages, as well as previous experience of using recruitment databases.
  • Knowledge of Boolean search techniques as well as a proactive and creative approach to candidate & client research.
  • Ideally A level or degree level qualification although not essential.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Basic salary between £30,000 and £40,000 depending on level of experience
  • First year on target earnings (OTE) approximately £50,000 to £90,000
