We're Carbon60 Project Services and with 40 years of experience behind us, we're experts in providing specialist technical services to the aviation and defence industries.

We have the experience and expertise to design and deliver engineering projects and services in aerospace and defence. Our diverse skill set allows us to engage with specialisms spanning from modifications and maintenance of aircrafts to security assurance of Naval systems. Our drive for problem solving has opened the door to multiple areas of the globe, and we are currently supporting projects across Europe, Australia and the Middle East.

The role

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Recruitment Business Partner to join us on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for someone passionate not just about the industry, but also about providing an excellent service at the highest quality.

Key duties:

  • Partner with our clients to identify and understand what type of solution is required
  • Maintain existing relationships by visiting and overseeing projects at various sites across the UK - primarily in the South of England and Wales
  • Project manage from initial qualification phase through to delivery
  • Source and recruit contractors as appropriate for each project
  • Work alongside the Account Managers to write proposals & contracts
  • Prepare and accurately present statistics, plans and achievements
  • Develop and maintain relationship management activities, particularly with key clients, senior decision makers and supply partners, including facilitating introductions for other services as appropriate
  • Monitor, meet and exceed set KPIs and SLAs
  • Regularly collate and advise the client of market intelligence
  • Provide initiatives against cost saving suggestions for client
  • Manage measurable risks
  • Conduct resourcing activities as required, towards the recruitment of contractors to ensure the delivery of each project.

You will have a mix of days in the office and days in the field. This is not a typical office based role and due to the nature of the work as well as the industry shift patterns, there will be times when travel will have to extend beyond the core hours.

While in the office, you will be supported by established industry experts, that are keen to mentor you and open the doors to a successful and fulfilled career in Account Management.

Due to the nature of our client industries, you will be required to go through security clearance.

What are we looking for?

  • Driven mindset
  • Willingness to learn
  • Great engagement skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Recruitment experience in either In-house or Agency settings
  • Knowledge of Ltd contracts, Umbrella and/or PAYE
  • Experience recruiting in industries like engineering, aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, production, maintenance or repairs is mandatory
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • A driver with access to their own vehicle
  • Apprenticeship or technical background in Aviation/Aerospace/Engineering is desired
