We've partnered with a Central Government institution to recruit a Recruitment Advisor to lead a variety of recruitment campaigns for the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment professional to join this organisation as part of a small in-house Recruitment team and assist in the delivery of an efficient recruitment service.The role is full time, with hybrid working options available, and offering an annual salary up to £35,000
Your new role

Reporting directly to the Head of Recruitment, this role is to partner with hiring managers to deliver a tailored recruitment service from end to end, Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Accountability for a diverse range of campaigns, including high-volume, specialised, and operational, offering expert guidance and hands-on assistance to those in charge of hiring.
  • Overseeing all stages of the recruitment process, from planning and advertising campaigns to selection and job offer, ensuring a top-tier recruitment service with an emphasis on managing stakeholders and enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Utilising a range of job boards, social media, and online channels, contributing to the development of proactive and engaging attraction strategies that offer good value.
  • Cultivating new relationships and strengthening existing ones with various agencies and third-party entities.
  • With a grasp of best practice selection techniques, assisting in the design and hands-on support of a variety of selection methods, including face-to-face and video interviews, assessment centres, skills testing, and online assessments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Prior experience in internal recruitment, either within a specialised recruitment team or as a generalist with extensive recruitment experience, comfortable in managing a broad range of campaigns and proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the recruitment landscape, experienced in crafting attraction strategies for various roles, including advertising, direct sourcing, and collaboration with third-party entities.
  • Essential experience in designing both in-person and virtual interviews, assessment centres, and practical assignments/skills tests.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment, possessing excellent communication skills, and accustomed to collaborating at all levels, ready to make an immediate impact.
  • Robust organisational and time management skills and the capacity to work swiftly, adept at balancing multiple priorities, seamlessly transitioning between operational and project work to deliver results
