Domus Recruitment are working with a brilliant charity based in Redditch that are looking for a Team Leader to oversee their supported living service supporting service users with Mental Health needs. 

Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader:

  • Undertake and be responsible for the day-to-day management, supervision and support of the Staff.
  • Deployment of staff according to assessed needs
  • Be responsible in supporting the Registered Services Manager in the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  • Lead and direct the staff team to support individual’s with complex communication needs and a range of physical and learning difficulties.
  • Promote positive communication to enable the individual to achieve their hopes, goals and aspirations, maximising the individual’s quality of life and minimising their behaviours of concern.
  • Support the emotional, spiritual, physical, medical wellbeing and the material needs of the individual within their own home.
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance is set out in line with CQC guidelines.
  • Building positive partnerships.
  • Organising person-centred reviews.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the need of individuals with Mental Health needs, would be a distinct advantage.
  • Full driver’s license is also an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
