Staying Well is an innovative out of hours crisis mental health service which supports and empower clients experiencing a mental health crisis to safely manage their wellbeing within the community. Open 7 days a week, (including bank holidays) Staying Well provides psychosocial support and crisis interventions to increase resilience and coping skills.

You will provide brief interventions designed to help people safely deescalate and manage their emotional distress in the short term and support people to identify their needs so they can connect with the appropriate wider networks to aid in their recovery journeys.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of working with people with mental health needs, a good understanding of local NHS/Community support services, be able to demonstrate a high level of resilience and ability to work autonomously.

All roles involve working until 11pm at night and will include weekend working on a rotational basis. This role will be based at our Preston Park Recovery Centre in Brighton.

You will be supported in your role by the Staying Well management team. Full training and induction will be given.
