Description

  • Direct a timely month end close process to ensure accounts are reconciled, reviewed, and have appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Oversee monthly SOX reporting and compliance and monthly sales close process.
  • Oversee analysis of monthly financial statement results & journal entry process for the US.
  • Run quarterly balance sheet and trail balance reviews.
  • Review quarterly cash flow statement
  • Accountable for performance, development, and coaching of staff
  • Oversee and direct preparing for and providing support to external auditors
  • Responsible for the of the day-to-day services performed by the team.
  • Support cost reduction / service improvement opportunities and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage service delivery performance reporting to the Finance leadership.

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Demonstrable track record of progressive accounting experience
  • Supervision experience
  • Strong project management; the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Cash flow statement knowledge
  • Background in people management, operational excellence, and business decision-making
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Significant statistical analysis and reporting experience
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Intermediate understanding of report query and design.
