RECEPTIONIST

MONDAY TO FRIDAY HOURS - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

LOCATION: BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE

My client is a well-respected legal and professional services company based in Birmingham city centre, markets leaders in their field having won a host of accolades and awards.

Hesketh James are currently recruiting a receptionist to work at our clients offices based in the heart of Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, customer-focused receptionist as well as a great host and someone who is a great brand ambassador and always looks to exceed guest expectation. You will be IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

· Host duties - Meeting and greeting visitors at the door as they enter the building

· Provide show rounds for potential tenants and guests

· Accurately recording calls and visits, ensuring messages are relayed in a timely manner.

· Driving the Guest Services offering.

· Accountable for driving customer experience and becoming first point of contact for visitors within the building.

· Assisting visitors with any needs - stamping car park passes, offering directions etc

· Answering telephones, taking messages etc

· Looking after the help desk, assisting with any problems or queries reported

What are we looking for?

The following backgrounds will be considered:

· Previous front of house experience as a host/receptionist within a restaurant, bar or hotel committed to providing the highest standards of customer service.

· We would also consider candidates who have worked in customer service for a airline, luxury car dealership or something similar

· Previous experience as a receptionist/host within a serviced office, service apartment or co-working space

Experience/Skills Required:

· An excellent host and ambassador for the company

· Previous supervisory or junior management experience

· Well presented at all times with a great front of house presence & a cheery welcoming demeanour

· A strong communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels

· The ability to build up a good rapport and strong relationships with colleagues and visitors

· Great telephone answering skills

· IT Literate
