Our client is a development management firm looking to hire a Receptionist/Office Manager in their London offices. This role is perfect for a dynamic and hardworking individual who is looking to take the next step in their career with a market leading firm. This is a client-facing role where you will also take on the responsibility of managing the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in an office management role ideally within professional services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this role you will meet and greet all employees and guests that come to the office while overseeing the efficient running of the office space.
- Ensure that the reception and office area are maintained and presentable at all times
- Issue building passes
- Keep stock of office stationery, supplies, and refreshments
- Answer, screen, and transfer all calls to the relevant people
- Communicate with the travel management company to organise travel for teams without admin support
- Distribute all post accordingly
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and facilities to ensure proper office management and maintenance
- Assist with meeting and event organisation
- Responsible for office layout and new starter onboarding
- General office management
- Update databases and travel trackers
WHO YOU ARE
The Receptionist/Office Manager needs to be an organised, proactive and professional individual. You must be a people person who can tactfully approach any situation or personality.
- Prior experience as a Receptionist/Office Manager is required
- A client-focused approach to tasks
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to multitask effectively
- Impeccable time management and attention to detail
- A ‘can-do’ attitude
