The role: Early Years TA

Contract: Full Time

Location: South East London

Rate: £95 - £100

We are looking for a friendly, exciting and compassionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to come join one of our remarkable primary schools in Southeast London. We welcome those who provide a life changing experience to pupils' lives. For this role you will be supporting a high level child with moderate behaviour challenges, in a reception class.

The ideal candidate:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons that meet the needs and interests of the children.
  • Working closely with the Early Years team and other staff to ensure a smooth transition to Reception.
  • Assessing and monitoring the children's progress and development, and providing constructive feedback
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers, and involving them in their children's learning
  • Contributing to the school's vision, values, and ethos, and upholding its policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum CACHE Level 2 Early Years Qualification or Early Years Teaching Assistant certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Safeguarding experience
  • Enhanced child DBS (Not mandatory as we can help provide one)
