Reception Teacher (Full-Time) - LANCASTER

A primary school in Lancaster is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality education and nurturing the growth and development of their youngest learners within their Reception class.

This position is to start on Monday 3rd June 2024 until Monday 22nd July 2024

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of Reception children.
  • Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate children's learning across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Assess children's progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support children's holistic development.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in the EYFS phase.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, including the principles of child development and early learning goals.
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
