We have a fantastic opportunity for a teaching assistant, who has a wealth of experience supporting children at the early key stages of the education.

About the role:

  • The role will involve working 1:1 and leading small group interventions for students with ASD needs.

  • Planning activities and games that are engaging and fun that can be accessible for all abilities.

  • General classroom support

  • Opportunities to work with older key stages if the need arises.

  • Playground duty

  • Managing behaviour

  • Support to class teacher

  • Full time, working 8:30am- 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only

  • ASAP start

About you:

  • It is essential that you have at least 1 years of experience supporting within UK schools

  • Knowledge of UK curriculum

  • Experience of supporting specific learning needs

  • Enthusiastic, hard-working and be able to put the students first

  • Strong safeguarding knowledge

  • GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and maths (or equivalent qualifications).

  • Great sense of humour
