Reception Primary Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Reception Teacher to join our partner school in Bolton! Our partner school prides themselves on providing the best possible care and education for all their pupils and this role is open to ECTs who are looking to gain experience!

The school works closely with parents and carers to make sure they meet all the pupil's needs and link different areas of the curriculum together in topics to ensure a broad and balanced approach. The school has a range of learning schemes to ensure cohesive planning and teaching and previous experience of 'Supersonic Phonics Friends' would be beneficial as well as White Rose Maths and Talk for Writing. The school prides itself on having a strong CPD program and support their staff to achieve their goals. As a reception teacher, you will be required to complete all planning and attend school staff meetings.

This one-form entry school has a strong extracurricular program where they run a range of clubs and sports activities to make sure all children feel included in the school community and have a chance to demonstrate their talents.

Each class has the support of a teaching assistant and there are detailed long-term and medium-term plans in place. This full-time reception teacher role commences in September 2024 and you will be required for to complete the academic year, but this role could also become permanent. This exciting position will pay £140-200 per day, subject to experience.

Essential requirements:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status
• Teaching experience in the United Kingdom
• Experience in Early Years/Year 1 is essential in this role
• A proven track record with references to support this
