At Tradewind, we are working closely with one of our clients, who are seeking a Reception Class teacher to start in May 2024, until the end of the academic year.

This full-time role, offers the opportunity to inspire and nurture the youngest minds in a welcoming and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Reception Teacher:

  • Promote and maintain engaging and creative lessons to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of young learners.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to individual learning needs.
  • Come together with teaching assistants and other staff to create a well-rounded and safe educational experience.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and the school as required.
  • Promote a love for learning and a smooth transition to Key Stage 1.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching EYFS children.
  • A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working with young children and a nurturing approach to education.
  • An up-to-date DBS check or the willingness to obtain one.
