Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team working in a vibrant primary school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of special education and supply your knowledge and skills in a practical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Assess and monitor the progress of students with SEN and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Offer emotional and behavioural support to students, helping them to develop social and emotional skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student's progress and needs.

Qualifications:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different educational settings.
