THE BUSINESS

Our client is a globally expanding auto parts supplier. Their customers are auto manufacturers and auto part unit (equipment) manufacturers. Since their beginnings nearly 70 years ago they have established various new business locations across the globe to supply high-quality auto parts. They are a key part of the local supply chain supplying high-quality auto parts from their base in Tyne and Wear.

THE ROLE

The position will be a Reach FLT Driver supporting the Warehouse Manager ensuring order picking processes are carried out as per the operator’s instructions and warehouse work instructions.

  • Picking/Packing
  • Completing paperwork
  • Based in the warehouse working as part of medium size team
  • Moving product around the warehouse both manually and with Forklift Truck

THE PERSON

You would be required to work with minimum supervision and adopt a positive and proactive approach supporting the team leader with all warehouse and line feed functions. A professional and courteous manner is essential as the line feeding is a customer facing role. You will maintain and form good relationships with customers and due to their working patterns, flexibility to do overtime and weekend work is a requirement for the role.

  • In date Reach fork lift licence
  • Good literacy and Numeracy skills
  • You must be willing to undertake any necessary training required for the role
