The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced RE Teacher who can inspire students to explore and understand the diversity of religious beliefs and cultural practices. As a valued member of our school community, you will have the opportunity to:

Deliver high-quality RE lessons, engaging students in thoughtful discussions and explorations of religious and moral issues.
Promote tolerance, respect, and empathy among students, fostering an inclusive and harmonious learning environment.
Facilitate students' understanding of various religious traditions and their contributions to society.
Encourage critical thinking and personal reflection through the study of ethical and philosophical questions.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities.
What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Strong subject knowledge in RE, with a comprehensive understanding of religious traditions, ethics, and philosophical concepts.
Passion for promoting tolerance, understanding, and respect for diverse religious and cultural perspectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to facilitate meaningful discussions and encourage students' critical thinking skills.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
