We are seeking an R+D Engineer to join our client team permanently. The R+D Engineer will be working for a fantastic organization and looking for someone who can endorse the company's core values and strive towards achieving the mission statement. The R+D Engineer will be reporting to the Technical Director and designing and developing using CAM software.

Key Responsibilities for the R+D Engineer:

  • To keep abreast of current trends, practices, market developments and regulatory changes that impact on the company's products.
  • Prototype testing and documenting reports and incorporating of tests/certificates/reports into certification/literature/labelling/liaising with QA.
  • Designing and developing using Autocad Inventor CAD Software
  • Drawing/specification/report approval and systemized control of all R+D-related documentation within the QA system.
  • Information gathering at the initial stages of projects will form a major part of the job role, maintaining accurate project information throughout.
  • Developing and administering of roadmap project planning process so projects are introduced on time and within budget
  • Involvement/maintenance of any area within the ERP system, but primarily BOMs, components, routings, configurations, and cutting sheets will be necessary for existing and new products.

Skills Required for the R+D Engineer:

  • Sheetmetal
  • New Design Experience
  • AutoCad INVENTOR
  • High degree of creativity in product design and manufacturing techniques
