Radio Communications Engineer-SDR technology,Troubleshooting

My client is looking for an experienced Radio Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining radio communication systems.

This role involves working with digital radio and associated hardware / software to ensure efficient and reliable communication across various platforms and facilities. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the field of radio communications.

• Radio Frequency (RF) Planning and Optimisation
• Network Configuration and Maintenance
• Testing and Evaluation
• Documentation
• Security and Compliance
• Collaboration and Communication

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS-

• Professional certifications in radio communications or related areas
• Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) technology
• Familiarity with emerging trends in radio communication
• Project/portfolio management qualifications
• IT and data management qualifications * H&S qualifications
• Proven experience within this field
• Strong understanding of RF principles, spectrum analysis, and network protocols
• Proficiency in using radio communication testing equipment and software
• PMR/DMR products
• BBPTT / Poc products
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Driving Licence
