R&D Engineer (Medical Robotics)

Focus on compact, portable designs and integrate actuated devices with electromechanical and pneumatic systems, ensuring high-precision and fail-safe functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical and electronic components for compact robotic systems.
  • Utilize CAD, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping for iterative optimization.
  • Create user-friendly graphical interfaces using suitable software tools.
  • Program robotics, specializing in sensor integration, actuation mechanisms, and user interface development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for successful integration and implementation.
  • Conduct thorough testing to meet design specifications and user requirements.

Who We Seek:

  • Master's or Ph.D. graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical design of robotic systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, ROS, and machine learning frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with rapid prototyping technologies.
  • Deep understanding of robot kinematics and dynamics, including modeling and simulation.
  • Familiarity with various robotics sensors and effective signal processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative teamwork.

Experiences We Value:

  • Hands-on experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and PCB design.
  • Knowledge of control systems (PID, MPC, Kalman Filter) and robotics frameworks (ROS, Gazebo).
  • Familiarity with machine perception, computer vision, and deep learning in robotics.
  • Practical experience in pneumatic or hydraulic control systems within robotic applications.
