R&D Engineer

We are working with a leading scientific manufacturing company based in South Cambridge who are looking for a Researcher to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and occasional travel could be required.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Data analysis.
• Laboratory work including but not limited to, handling of gases, electronics, test equipment.
• Produce scientific test reports and experimental methods.
• Perform batch testing against given timeframes.
• Oversee research experiments.
• Review the performance of sensors.
• Adhere to a high level of compliance and health & safety.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Materials Science, Chemistry or Physics Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience with sensors and gas sensors.
• Have excellent communicational and organisational skills.
• Experience within a laboratory and using laboratory tools.
• Experience with Python and Arduino controllers.
