Job Description

Intersect Global are proud to be partnering with a well-recognised main contractor in the Bedfordshire area. The company boasts a low turnover of staff as well great training and development for the team. This company has a focus predominately on Education, Healthcare and Commercial projects and have a strong pipeline of work due to a presence on a variety of frameworks.

Due to growth within the business, they are now searching for a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on a New build education & healthcare scheme in the heart of Milton Keynes. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading the majority of packages valued at £25m. Reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor, the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible in managing the full lifecycle of the project.

The Role;

  • Managing various build packages across the project from preconstruction to final accounts
  • Managing client variations and meeting with clients.
  • Cost reports and final accounting various build packages.
  • Supporting the wider project Team.

Experience Required

  • Degree qualified with either BSc Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum of 3+ Year Main Contracting experience
  • Thorough working knowledge of JCT Contracts
  • Experience of managing the full lifecycle of various build packages from pre-construction to final accounts.
  • Based in a commutable distance from Milton Keynes
